Full description
One stroke. Every gold-ringed ball must drop. Black decoys wait in the way, ready to spoil the trick. Thirty pool illusions, five acts, one curtain. Trick Table turns a pool table into a magician's stage. Each illusion is a fixed layout: a cue ball, two or three gold-ringed targets and a crowd of black decoy balls. Your job is to find the single stroke that sends every target home while the decoys stay put. There is no second visit and no lucky follow-up; the whole trick lives or dies on one strike of the cue. Every layout was found by a solver before it reached the stage, so each illusion has a real answer hidden inside it. The fun lies in discovering that line for yourself. HOW TO PLAY 1. Read the table. Gold-ringed balls are your targets and black balls are decoys. If a decoy drops, or the cue ball falls in, the illusion fails. 2. Drag on the cloth to aim. A ghost ball and an object-ball line show where contact will send the first target. 3. Fine-tune with the arrow buttons. Each tap nudges the aim by a twentieth of a degree, and the later acts genuinely need that precision. 4. Set the power, then pick Draw, Stun or Follow to decide what the cue ball does after contact. 5. Press PERFORM. If the trick misses, the table resets and you try again. 6. Stuck? After three misses you may reveal the secret line. It always works, but a revealed performance earns only one star. Stars follow the applause: perform an illusion on the first try for three stars, or within three tries for two. PROGRESSION The programme runs in five acts of six illusions each. Act I, The Apprentice, gives you two balls and generous margins. Act II, The Conjurer, tightens the lines and asks for softer touches. Act III, The Illusionist, keeps two balls but makes the angles cruel. Act IV, The Mentalist, raises the stakes to three balls in a single stroke, and Act V, The Grand Master, saves the hardest layouts for last. Complete an act to open the next one. The home stage always spotlights the next illusion with a preview of its layout, so you can study the table before the curtain rises. Every performance pays out in doves, the show's own currency, earned only by playing. Spend them in The Props on five wands, from the Apprentice Wand to the Grand Master, each drawing a longer guide for the object ball, and on five stage cloths such as Amethyst Velvet, Midnight Sky and the Gilded Stage. Twelve curtain calls reward milestones like a three-performance Encore or finishing an act without revealing a single secret, and the Grimoire keeps the book of the show: attempts, performances, stars, secrets revealed, longest streak and doves earned. GOOD TO KNOW • Plays fully offline, so the show goes on during a commute or a flight. • No account and no sign-in. • No ads and no in-app purchases. Doves come from performances only. • The layout adapts to phones and tablets. • Haptics, the aiming guide and the stage lights can each be switched off in Settings.
