Full description
Good evening, and welcome to the show. Six reds, six colours, one frame per episode. Eight guests stand between you and the trophy. Snooker Lite is mini snooker dressed up as a retro television series called Frame of the Week. The table carries six reds instead of fifteen, so a frame fits neatly into a tea break, yet the proper rules stay intact: pot a red, then any colour; colours return to their spots while reds remain; then clear yellow, green, brown, blue, pink and black in order. The highest possible break on this table is 75. THE SEASON The main mode is an eight-episode season. Each week a new guest walks on set for a single frame against you, and a win brings on next week's opponent. The line-up climbs steadily: Derek Pell, "The Postman", plays every pub league in the county; Priya Lal, "The Calculator", works out angles before you blink; Lenny Okoro, "The Magician", escapes the snookers you lay; and in the final waits Vivienne Shaw, last season's Champion. Each guest plays at their own level of accuracy, and every one of them has been proven beatable. Fouls follow the real game. Hit the wrong ball first, pot a ball that is not on, or go in-off, and your opponent collects at least four points. After an in-off you take ball in hand and drag the cue ball anywhere in the D. THE BREAK BUILDER Away from the cameras sits a rehearsal table. The reds are spread near the pockets, and the aim is simply to build the longest break you can: red, colour, red, colour, then the colours in order. One miss or one foul ends the attempt. Your highest practice break and highest match break are shown side by side, with break marks at 10, 15, 20 and 35 to chase. PRO SHOP AND HIGHLIGHTS Each episode pays a fee in the show's own currency, earned only by playing; a win pays more than a loss, and practice breaks earn a little too. Fees buy five cues, from the Studio Cue to Trophy Gold, each showing a longer guide for the object ball, and five cloths including Tournament Blue and Studio Teal. Twelve Highlights clips capture moments such as a frame without a foul or a win on the final black, while the teletext-style home page tracks episodes won, highest break and frames played. Controls stay simple: drag to aim, nudge with the arrows, set the power, choose screw, stun or a rolling follow, and press the cue. GOOD TO KNOW • Works fully offline, with no connection needed between episodes. • No account to create. • No ads and no in-app purchases; fees are earned at the table. • Adapts to phones and tablets.
