TuneLab: Chromatic Tuner

I wanted a tuner that tells me the number instead of a green dot, so I built one. TuneLab listens through the mic, names the note and shows how many cents you are off, on a needle that is not smoothed: a fresh pluck swings, a settled note sits still, and a string that drifts is a different problem from a string that sits sharp. What it does: - Chromatic mode, 35 Hz to 2 kHz, note name and target frequency - Presets for guitar, drop D, bass, ukulele and violin, with a string lock so a neighbouring string cannot take over - A4 from 415 to 466 Hz, reference tones for every target note, a haptic tick when you land - A wobble readout that says whether the pitch is steady or drifting - A raw mic path, no automatic gain or noise suppression to smear the pitch - An intonation flow for guitar, drop D and bass (not ukulele or violin): open string, then 12th fret, cents error and saddle direction per string It has limits. Cents are relative to your phone's mic and your A4. Below 60 Hz a phone mic gets vague and the app says so. Pressing hard bends a note sharp, which the flow reminds you of. The tuner is free and complete: every preset, the A4 range, reference tones, equal temperament. The intonation flow and its result on screen are free too, and each fresh install gets one PDF report. Pro is a one-time purchase through Google Play, no subscription, and adds unlimited PDF reports, your previous runs (the last 8), the historical temperaments (just, meantone, Werckmeister III) and your own logo on the report.
