Full description
What sours people on streak apps is usually the way a streak breaks. So here are the rules, written down before you start. One. Today never breaks a streak. A day that has not finished is not counted as a failure. You will not be told at 9pm that today is already missing, and grace is never spent on today. Two. Days off are not scheduled days in the first place. Only a habit set to daily demands every day. Set it to three times a week and the streak holds as long as three land inside the week. Five a week, four a month and every second day work the same way. Weekly and monthly habits are counted in weeks and months, not in days. Three. You get 0 to 3 grace uses per calendar month. A missed scheduled day gets filled in automatically. How many you carry is set per habit. Set it to zero and nothing is forgiven. Four. Work done on an unscheduled day still counts toward the streak. If Friday was not required and you did it anyway, that counts as moving forward. Logging is one tap on the habit. The heatmap fills a square a day. It works for things you want to stop, too. Set a habit's kind to Quit and a day you didn't do it becomes the achievement: no smoking, no drinking, no late-night snacks. You tap it that day to keep the streak. Five milestones: 7 days, 30, 100, 365, and comeback — the day you start again after a streak ended. Most habit apps skip that last one, which is odd, because the day after a break is exactly when people delete the app. The start of your day is adjustable, for anyone who wants something done at 2am counted as yesterday. So is the first day of the week. There is a bin. Deleted habits stick around for a while, so a mistake is recoverable, and moving a habit to the bin frees a slot on the free tier. — Without paying Up to 5 habits. Entries themselves are never counted against you. Your current streak, your longest ever, and your lifetime total are always shown in full, over any span. The board — heatmap and completion rate — covers the last 90 days. One best-hour figure. No ads. — What Pro opens No limit on habits. The board goes back a year or further. Completion by weekday, a 24-hour distribution of when you log, a per-habit breakdown, and the list of milestones you have passed. Monthly and yearly subscriptions exist, but the one being pushed is the one-time purchase. Pay once and nothing renews. — Not included Money saved or time elapsed for quitting. Reminders and notifications. Widgets. Export and backup. Cloud sync and accounts. Health app integration. Per-habit rest days and pauses — there is somewhere to store them, but the screen to set them has not been built yet. Runs in English and Japanese.
