Full description
Remote Assist Controller helps you support family, friends, and other trusted people when they ask for technical help. PAIR ONCE Enter the one-time eight-digit key shown by Remote Assist Endpoint. The key expires after use, and Controller pins the enrolled device identity so an unexpected replacement cannot silently connect. VISIBLE, APPROVED ASSISTANCE Select an online device and choose Connect. The person at the Endpoint sees the named helper and can accept or decline. Screen sharing still follows the permission prompts shown by the operating system. PRACTICAL REMOTE HELP View the shared screen, zoom, and control supported Android and desktop Endpoints after the assisted person enables the required permission. Send taps, drags, long presses, keyboard text, and supported navigation commands. iOS and Wayland Linux Endpoints are view-only. ORGANIZED SESSIONS Rename enrolled devices, keep the number of simultaneous sessions allowed by the account, minimize and restore a live session, pause streaming with Sleep, request Resume, and close completed session history. BUILT FOR UNRELIABLE NETWORKS Control messages stay prioritized while video adapts to available bandwidth. When the remote screen stops moving, the Endpoint can spend available bandwidth improving picture detail. SECURITY AND PRIVACY Account-scoped authorization, protected installation keys, device fingerprint pinning, TLS, and encrypted WebRTC media protect each connection. Remote Assist does not offer hidden recording, remote shell, file transfer, camera or microphone access, permission-dialog control, or lock-screen bypass. The person receiving help can stop the session locally at any time. An account is required. Sign in with email and password or Google. Optional Authenticator verification is available in Settings. Account deletion is available in the app and on the website.

What's new

Improved connection recovery and session reliability. Fixed stale sign-in and connection callbacks so older requests cannot interfere with a new connection.
