Lichen Field Spreads

Grow sage lichen across a 7x7 stone field: clone next door, leap two steps, and turn every rust piece you land beside. Lichen Field Spreads is a calm abstract strategy board game about territory and timing. Each side starts with two colonies in opposite corners of the stone board. On every turn you face one simple but deep decision. HOW IT PLAYS - Move one step in any of eight directions to clone a colony. The original stays where it is. - Move exactly two steps to leap. The colony jumps and leaves its old cell empty. - Every rival piece touching the cell you land on converts to your colour. - A side with no move passes. When the board is full or a colour is gone, the larger colony wins. WHY YOU WILL KEEP PLAYING - Two moves, one big choice: clone to grow or leap to reach further - Convert every rival piece touching the cell you land on - Three computer rivals that look one, two or three moves ahead - Eight hand-shaped stone layouts with blocked cells to plan around - Fully offline with saved games, stats and thirteen awards A QUIET GAME Lichen Field Spreads is fully offline and needs no internet connection.
