High Seas Tycoon: Fleet

High Seas Tycoon is a quick shipping game. You start with one ship in 2027 and build a fleet of container ships and tankers through 2041. Whoever ends with the highest company value wins. THE WHOLE WORLD ON THE MAP 32 ports in ten regions, from Bergen and Rotterdam to Singapore, Houston, Lagos and Sydney. Ships follow sea lanes through Suez, Panama and the Strait of Malacca, and around the Cape of Good Hope or Cape Horn when the canals close. The map wraps around the globe. SHORT AND CLEAR A game takes about five to ten minutes. Pick a job, press Next year, and watch the ships sail and the money come in. The year report shows the result, your rank and what the market does next year. A shorter eight-year sprint is there if you want it. FLEET, BANK AND RIVALS Five ship types: feeder, Panamax, mega ship, product tanker and supertanker. Five fictional lines compete with you. Borrow against the fleet when cash is tight, and buy ships when rates are low. EVENTS Booms, strikes, storms, canal queues and closed canals are announced a year ahead, so you have time to change routes.
