Full description
How fast are you? TapCult is a reaction game made of 21 quick reflex mini games that test your reaction time, your timing and your nerve. Each one is short and asks for one thing: tap at the right instant, hold steady, or don't tap at all. Three hearts, one run, one score to beat. HOW A RUN WORKS Tap to fill the ring. When it is full the screen goes dark and one reflex challenge appears. Clear it and you score. Clear challenges back to back on the first try and a streak multiplies your points, up to three times. You get two tries at every challenge, and missing both costs a heart. The longer a run lasts, the harder the challenges get and the more each one is worth. 10 REFLEX GAMES FROM YOUR FIRST RUN - Don't Blink: wait, then tap the moment it flashes - Two-Step Reflex: tap START, then hit the green target - Button Ambush: tap every popup before it hides - Glitch Chase: tap the orb while it is bright - Threshold Drop: tap as the bar crosses the line - Tiny Margin: tap when the disc meets the ring - Tap Defuse: tap fast enough to hit the count in time - Rapid Fire: tap to keep the gauge in the band - Hold Steady: hold the pad and keep the meter centred - Spin Wheel: flick the wheel and stop it on the wedge 11 HARDER GAMES TO UNLOCK Your best score sets your rank, and new ranks open new challenges: - No Touch: don't touch the screen at all - Invisible Countdown: count down in your head and tap at zero - Phase Sync: tap when the two dots line up - Offbeat Tap: tap in the gaps, never on the beat - Countdown Deception: tap at the real zero, not the fake one - Delayed Echo: make a delay, then echo it back - Mirror Input: watch the pattern, then tap it mirrored - Ghost Signal: find the hidden node from the rings your misses leave - Safe Cracker: turn the dial and hold on the lock - Signal Sort: tap the one that fits the rule - False Exit: ignore the fake exits and tap the real one SEE HOW FAST YOU WERE - A result after every challenge, with the number where there is one: your reaction in milliseconds in Two-Step Reflex, how early or late you hit a hidden countdown, how many degrees you missed the wheel by - Your best score, kept on your device and shown at the end of every run - Ten ranks to climb, from Static to Spectrum, with the points to the next one on screen - Challenges cleared and your peak streak at the end of every run - A higher rank starts your next run at a harder level EASY TO START, PLAYS OFFLINE - Every new challenge begins as an easy practice round that costs no hearts. Miss it and you get the full rules and another go - Plays offline, with no account and no sign-in - Sound and vibration throughout, each with an off switch. The rhythm challenges play to a beat - An optional daily reminder at a time you choose - Free to play with ads; ads need a connection and are skipped without one. When a run ends you can choose to watch a short ad for one more heart, once per run TapCult is a reaction time test that plays like an arcade game: for a spare minute, a quick break, or one more go at your own best. Download TapCult and find out how fast you are.

What's new

Two tries at every challenge: miss once and it comes straight back at no cost; a second miss costs a heart. Your streak holds through a retry and resets only when a heart goes. On a first launch the privacy questions now appear on the opening screen, not over the game. Several challenges are fairer and end showing why you won or lost. A lost heart now shows as it goes, the surge after a clear is cleaner, and the reminder time in Settings keeps up with quick taps.
