InkLeaf Notes

InkLeaf Notes is a markdown notebook that keeps what you write where you wrote it. No account, no sync, no network — your notes live in a database on your own device and leave only when you send them somewhere yourself. WRITE IN MARKDOWN, WITHOUT MEMORISING IT Type the markers if you know them, or use the toolbar above the keyboard if you do not. Bold, italic, strikethrough, highlight, headings, quotes, bullet lists, numbered lists, checklists, inline code, fenced code blocks, links, dividers and tables are all one tap away — and every button keeps your cursor exactly where you left it. SEE IT RENDERED AS YOU GO Switch between Write, Preview and Split with one control. Split shows the source and the result side by side on a tablet and stacked on a phone. There is only ever one copy of a note, so the text and the rendered page cannot drift apart. CHECKLISTS THAT ACTUALLY WORK Tap a checkbox in the preview and the underlying markdown flips between unchecked and checked immediately. Note cards show how many boxes are ticked, and a filter collects every note that contains a checklist. FOURTEEN TEMPLATES TO START FROM Daily journal, meeting notes, project brief, decision log, weekly review, book notes, reading list, Cornell notes, question bank, code snippet, bug write-up, recipe, trip plan and a blank page. Preview one before you use it — each is ordinary markdown you can rewrite completely. FIND ANYTHING Search titles and full text with matches highlighted in place. Filter by tag, pin the notes you keep coming back to, star the ones you want to hand, and sort by recently edited, recently created, title or length. WATCH THE HABIT FORM The Growth screen counts notes kept, words written, tasks ticked and tags in use, all recomputed from your library rather than stored as running totals. A weekly bar chart, a twelve-week activity grid and a writing streak show the shape of your writing, and ten milestones mark the way. NOTHING IS DELETED BY ACCIDENT Swiping a note sends it to the compost heap, where it waits until you restore it or clear the heap out. Deletion is never one careless gesture away. MADE FOR PLAIN TEXT Markdown is just text with a few punctuation conventions, which means your notes stay readable anywhere — including long after this app. Copy any note out to the clipboard whenever you want it somewhere else. WHAT IS NOT IN HERE No account. No advertising. No analytics. No crash reporting. No cloud. No subscription. No runtime permissions.
