Costia Training

Costia Training is a strength-training log. You open it, you log the set, you carry on training. You sign in with your Costia account — Apple, Google or email — and answer two short screens: your goal, how many days a week (two to six), how long a session lasts and what kit you have, then how long you have been training. It proposes a routine from that, and you start logging. In the gym it does not need signal: every set is saved on your phone first and goes up to your account when there is a connection. IN THE GYM • Weight, reps and reps in reserve, on controls big enough to hit one-handed without looking. • The rest timer starts itself the moment a set lands. • The screen stays awake if you want it to, so you are not waking it with chalk on your hands. • Warm-up, working and failure sets, each counted as what it is. ROUTINES • Routines for two to six days a week, from proven templates — full body, upper / lower, push / pull / legs — with rep ranges and double progression. • Or the builder: it asks, one at a time, what matters right now, how many days, how long, what kit you have, how to split the week and whether anything hurts — and it adapts one of them. It does not invent a plan from nothing: what goes wrong in a training plan is somebody's shoulder. • A searchable exercise catalogue, matching the words on your screen, and your own exercises when something is missing. WHAT HAPPENS AFTERWARDS • Your records are a history, not a number: one row per record achieved, so progression is a line rather than a figure that keeps being overwritten. • Estimated 1RM per lift, tonnage per week, and sets per muscle against a target band. • And what to put on the bar next time: repeat until you hit the target reps, then add one step. Deliberately dull. A COACH THAT CAN EXPLAIN ITSELF Every suggestion can tell you why. Today they are rules over what you logged, computed on your phone: a set that comes in two reps short mid-session, a muscle under its band two weeks running, an estimate that has climbed past your recorded max. Anything that tells you to drop to 67.5 should be able to say why. YOUR DATA • Your training is stored on your phone and synced to your Costia account: it is backed up and follows you to any device. One Costia account covers every Costia app. • If the app crashes, a crash report is sent, and it carries nothing about your training. • No ads, no analytics, no tracking — not a single advertising identifier. • No precise location — only an approximate one, if you look for gyms near you — no camera, no contacts, and no connection to any health platform. COSTIA PREMIUM (OPTIONAL) Everything above is free. Costia Premium is an optional subscription for your Costia account that adds the AI coach: an assistant you can ask mid-session, which proposes the change and applies it only when you tap, and routine design by conversation.
