GA Pilots 3D Flight Recorder

GApilots is the free flight tracking app built specifically for General Aviation pilots. Log every flight with precision GPS, share your journey live with friends and family, and monitor your aircraft's attitude in real time - all from your phone, with no subscriptions and zero ads. 🆓 FREE. NO ADS. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS. Every feature, forever, at no cost. No in-app purchases, no premium tier, no advertising. 🌍 LIVE PUBLIC FLIGHT TRACKING Anyone can follow your flight in real time on gapilots.org/livetrack. Share the link before take-off and let your family watch you fly from any device, anywhere in the world. 🕵️ PUBLIC OR PRIVATE - YOUR CHOICE Set each flight to Public, Invisible (viewable only via a direct link) or Private (visible only to you). Change visibility at any time, even mid-flight. 📧 TAKEOFF AND LANDING EMAIL ALERTS Configure the app to automatically email friends and family the moment you start or end your flight - no manual messages needed. ⚠️ SAFETY WATCHDOG Set a timeout interval and the system automatically sends a warning email if no GPS updates arrive within that window, giving peace of mind to loved ones back home. 🗺️ LIVE GPS MAP Watch your flight path draw itself in real time on a full-screen interactive map. Zoom, pan and review your complete route after landing. 🧭 ARTIFICIAL HORIZON A live attitude indicator driven directly by your phone's motion sensors - pitch, roll and heading displayed graphically in real time, just like a real cockpit instrument. One-tap calibration lets you level it from any mounting position. 📹 LIVE ONBOARD CAMERA STREAMING Watch your onboard camera feed live, right inside the app. Works with any RTMP or SRT capable camera or encoder, or with our turn-key RPI Streamer hardware - a compact device with its own battery backup, built for unstable aircraft power, that streams video and radio audio over your phone's hotspot. Streaming starts and stops automatically with your flight and can be controlled remotely from within the app, including power and reboot. ⏱️ FLIGHT TIMER AND STATS Track airtime and Hobbs meter readings, and get a sunset countdown so you always know how much daylight you have left. 🔗 FULL EFLYINGSCHOOL INTEGRATION Seamlessly connected to eFlyingSchool, the flight management system used by GA pilots. Create a flight on eFlyingSchool directly from the app, automatically start and stop your eFlyingSchool flight log as you fly, and upload your Hobbs readings the instant you land. 👥 WHO IT'S FOR GApilots is built for General Aviation pilots of any experience level - student pilots, instructors and seasoned aviators alike - who want a simple, reliable way to log flights, stay connected with the people who care about their safety, and share the joy of flying. 🚁 FLY A GYROCOPTER INSTEAD?
