BreezeDrop lets you temporarily share a folder selected on your Android device with a PC browser on the same local network. No PC app is required. Start sharing on Android, open the displayed URL or QR code on your PC, enter the six-digit code, and approve the connection on Android. This is not a subscription or recurring charge. Google Play shows the current localized price and payment method before purchase. Verified Pro access remains available from its on-device state when Google Play is temporarily unreachable. A plan change never alters an active sharing session; it applies the next time sharing starts. Returning to Free does not automatically delete shared-folder settings, permissions, or history. Privacy by design Files are not sent to the app developer's server or cloud. BreezeDrop has no ads, analytics, account registration, or external CDN. A transfer occurs only between the Android device and a PC that you approve on the same LAN. Shared-folder settings and operation history stay on the Android device, and history can be cleared in the app. Google Play processes purchase information when you buy or restore Pro. BreezeDrop does not send your files, history, shared folders, or client IP address to Google Play. About connection security LAN traffic uses TLS 1.2 or later by default. Because the certificate is self-signed and generated on the device, the browser displays a certificate warning. Confirm that the IP address shown by Android matches the browser URL before continuing. TLS encrypts the traffic, but a self-signed certificate does not provide CA-verified server identity. For environments that cannot use the self-signed certificate, you may explicitly acknowledge the risk and switch to unencrypted HTTP in Settings. HTTP can expose or allow modification of file contents and authentication data, so use it only on a trusted LAN when necessary. BreezeDrop never falls back to HTTP automatically. For safety, only one PC and one file operation are active at a time. Deleting a shared root or non-empty folder, overwriting, moving, and renaming are not supported. Requirements Android 10 or later and a PC browser reachable over the same IPv4 LAN. VPNs, AP isolation, managed-network policies, and SAF provider behavior may prevent connections or limit some operations. Google Play connectivity is required to purchase or restore Pro.
