Toflan Arc

Design wood inlay panels and turn them into a numbered cutting plan 🗺️. Toflan Arc is a workshop tool 🛠️ for people who make wood inlay and marquetry. You lay out a pattern 🔢 on a square board, then the app 📱 turns it into a cutting plan 🗺️ you can follow at the bench. Pick a veneer, choose a grain angle and paint the board cell by cell. Use half and triangle brushes for diagonal edges, fill whole areas, erase, and mirror your work with symmetry. Undo and redo are always at hand. You can also float a reference photo 📸 over the board and lay veneer along its shapes. Press Plan 🗺️ and the app 📱 cuts the design into numbered pieces. Each piece shows its size, area and grain direction. Fragile and oversize pieces are hatched on the board, so you can see 👀 them before you pick up the saw. Set the cell size, the saw kerf and the smallest piece you want to cut. The leaves view shows how the pieces nest on each sheet of veneer, with the yield and the waste for every species. Tick pieces off as you cut them and follow your progress 📈 on the bench. What you can do: - Keep up to 30 panels on the bench, each with a preview, a region count and cut progress 📈 - Choose from 12 built-in woods, from holly and birdseye maple to walnut and macassar ebony - Add your own veneers with a name, figure and leaf size - Search 🔍 and filter 🎚️ the veneer library 📚 by figure - Choose a grid of 12, 16, 20 or 24 cells for a new ✨ panel - Set default values for new ✨ panels in the settings Open Toflan Arc, lay a few pieces of veneer and see 👀 how many cuts your design needs.
