Kinescope

Kinescope is the mobile client for the Kinescope video platform. Everything you open the web dashboard for now fits in your pocket: your workspace catalog, uploads, live broadcasts and playback. CATALOG • Projects, folders and playlists of your workspace in one place. • Search by title and jump straight to the video you need. • Rename, move and delete — gated by your actual permissions, so the app only offers what your role allows. • Multiple workspaces, switched without signing in again. UPLOADS • Pick videos from your gallery and upload them straight into the right folder. • Uploads are resumable: lose connectivity or background the app and the transfer picks up where it stopped, with progress in a notification. • Processing status is visible in the uploads list — the app waits until the video is ready to play. LIVE • Broadcast from the phone camera, front or back. • Broadcast your screen: show an app, a deck or a game. • Add microphone commentary over the picture. • Broadcasts keep running while the app is backgrounded and stay visible in the notification shade, where you can also stop them. SCREEN RECORDING • Record your screen to a file and upload it to the catalog without leaving the app. PLAYBACK • Player with protected playback (Widevine) for DRM-protected content. • Quality, speed, subtitles and audio tracks at hand. ANALYTICS • Core numbers per video and project, so you can see what gets watched. WHO IT IS FOR Teams already working with Kinescope: producers, marketers, educators and support engineers — anyone who needs to shoot, upload or show a video from a phone. WHAT YOU NEED A Kinescope account. The app is a client for the platform and cannot be used without one. PRIVACY No ads, no advertising identifiers, and your videos are not shared with third parties. Camera, microphone and gallery access are requested only where you start a recording, a broadcast or an upload yourself.
