Full description

cropagora shows Zambian farmers what their crops are actually worth. Every day we publish the going rate for maize, soya, tomatoes, onions, groundnuts and dozens more, market by market. Not shop prices, the farm-gate price buyers pay farmers. It is the one number nobody publishes, and the one you need before you agree to sell. WHAT YOU GET Today's prices, free See the going rate for every major crop, at markets across Zambia. Check it before a buyer knocks, so you know whether an offer is fair. Know when to sell See how a crop's price moves through the year, and which market is worth the trip before you travel. Buy and sell Post what you have, browse what other farmers are selling, and message a buyer directly. Free to list. Your farm, on a map Draw your fields, track your livestock and herd health records, and get weather for your exact location. Check a sick crop or animal Send a photo and get an idea of what you are dealing with, plus where to find the nearest agro-dealer or vet stockist. Ask other farmers A community of Zambian farmers sharing what is working, what prices they are seeing, and what to watch out for. FOR FARMERS IN ZAMBIA Built for smallholder farmers, in Zambia, using Ministry of Agriculture market data and the FRA floor price for grain. Works on modest phones and light data. Free to use. No subscription.

What's new

Marketplace now shows crops and livestock together in one list, newest first — no more switching tabs to find what is for sale. Social has two tabs: For you shows everything farmers are posting, Following shows only the people you follow. Also: clearer notification wording, and several fixes.
