Rebuild a plane to the setup that produced your best shaving by number 🔢, instead of re-finding it with trial cuts. Tow Rush binds a measured shaving thickness to the exact geometry that made it — bed angle, primary and micro bevel, camber drop, chipbreaker set-back, mouth aperture and lateral offset — on a named wood species. A record starts at Setup Entry, where you enter the geometry actually dialled in on the chosen plane, seeded from that plane's stored card. Take the trial cut, then enter three micrometer readings across the shaving: leading, middle and trailing. The taper between them reveals lateral skew and uneven camber that a single reading hides. Photograph the shaving held to the light and it stays with the record. Surface outcome is structured attribution, not prose: rating, tear-out severity, where the tear-out sits on the board, grain direction and cut direction. Because every outcome is stored against the setup that caused it, Species Insight answers questions from your own history ⏳, such as which chipbreaker set-back worked last time ⏱️ on interlocked sapele. Promote a good setup and Tow Rush turns it into a rebuild checklist. After a teardown you walk each dimension in turn, ticking values off against the target 🎯 held on screen, and an interrupted rebuild keeps its ticked state until you come back to it.
