Pigeonsfly analyses flight conditions for racing pigeons using real weather data — hour by hour, along the entire route, for any race in Europe. Instead of guessing what the day will bring, you get a concrete conditions score and a recommended release time. WHAT THE APP DOES 🗺️ ROUTE & ANALYSIS Enter the release and home cities — the app calculates distance and bearing, then analyses conditions along the whole route, not just at the release point. ⏰ OPTIMAL RELEASE TIME Every morning slot gets a 0–100 score based on: wind (including wind at flight altitude), temperature, rain, cloud cover, visibility, sun angle and geomagnetic activity. The app recommends the best slot and clearly flags when NOT to release. 🌬️ WIND AT FLIGHT ALTITUDE Pigeons don't fly at ground level. The app interpolates wind at 10–180 m and computes head/tail/cross wind relative to your route bearing — with estimated flight speed and arrival time. 🌅 SUN ANGLE & ORIENTATION True astronomical sun position for your date and location. Low sun with a clear east? Green. Sun too close to the horizon in the flight direction?
