Full description

Chant is a fun app by Balance Eco that turns the music you love into something you can be part of and something that makes a difference in the real world. Choose a song. Add your voice. Create your chant. Your recording is sent to real-world producers and creators to be mixed into the music, giving you your own finished version to come back and listen to. And every chant does something beyond the music. Chants plant trees. Choose where your tree is planted, discover the forest it will call home and follow your impact as it grows. It’s music participation with a real-world legacy. BE IN THE MUSIC Explore songs, artists and releases in Chant and choose the music you want to be part of. Listen to your part, record your voice directly from your phone and send your chant into the studio. No recording experience needed. Just you, your voice and the music. BE IN THE MIX Your chant doesn’t stop when you press send. Follow its journey through the app, receive updates from the people working on it and come back when your finished mix is ready. Then listen to a version of the music that has you in it. Really. PLANT SOMETHING REAL Your chant can plant a real tree in a real forest. Explore planting locations around the world, choose where you want your tree to go and discover more about the places, projects and species behind your impact. Your tree becomes part of your Chant story, forever linked back to the music that helped put it there. SEE YOUR IMPACT GROW Track the trees you’ve planted, the species and locations you’ve supported, and the wider impact being created by the Chant community. Your contributions can also join together with contributions from other users towards - Community Balance Units - turning lots of individual actions into measurable collective impact for local communities, biodiversity and verified carbon impact. And when milestones are reached, you’ll have something to show for it. Save and share your tree certificates and celebrate the difference you’ve helped create. CHANT Be in the music. Be in the mix. Be in the art. Make real-world impact. Music can move people. Now it can help move the world, too.
