BeatView – HR Display

BeatView shows your heart rate from an external Bluetooth sensor – large, calm and distraction free. No account, no ads. FEATURES • Works with any sensor that offers the standard Bluetooth heart rate service, e.g. Polar, Garmin, Wahoo, Coospo and many more • Large, easy to read number that adapts to two and three digit values • Heart rate zones 1 to 5 with colour; thresholds adjustable in beats per minute • Sensor battery level and age of the last reading at a glance • Reading from the watch's own sensor as a cross check • Screen lock against accidental input from water or wet fingers • Runs as an ongoing session, so the watch returns to the display when the screen wakes up • Configurable display: number size, zone colour, optional extras WHO IT IS FOR Anyone who wants to see one thing during training: the current heart rate. Swimming, cycling, running, rowing or in the gym. NOTES • An external Bluetooth heart rate sensor is required. • Under water, Bluetooth only reaches a few centimetres. Dropouts while swimming are normal; the app reconnects automatically. • The app stores no workouts and sends no data to any server. • If the screen turns off when you turn your wrist away, this is a watch gesture setting and can be disabled in the watch settings. • BeatView is not a medical device.
