Full description
Log 01 — Commission. The console comes online inside a narrow chrome interceptor, and the orders are simple: twelve sectors of charted dark, from Kepler Gate to Last Meridian, and every lane kept open. Log 02 — Contact. Drones arrive in angular shapes: triangle drifters, finned weavers, dart divers that lock on and drop, hex turrets with aimed amber fire and heavy armoured plates. Steer the interceptor and keep its blue lasers on target. Log 03 — Carrier. Every mission ends with a Carrier, a huge chrome hexagon with a pulsing core. Missions grow from four waves to eight, and each scores up to three sparks: three for no hits, two with half the hull intact, one for getting through. Log 04 — Relay. Two pilots, one phone. Pilot A flies a shared seed until the hull is gone, passes the phone, and Pilot B flies the very same drones. Scores are compared, and the last ten relays stay on record. Log 05 — Archive. Eight entries of a science-fiction ship log open as missions are cleared, read in a terminal that types each line. Log 06 — Exam. Twelve questions on the Solar System and spaceflight from a pool of 28 real facts, no timer, and a review sheet at the end that sets your answer beside the correct one. Between sorties, Telemetry gathers eight readings, from sparks and Carriers to accuracy and the highest exam mark, above a table of every sector. Portrait and landscape both work, with no sound, network or account, and haptics and the scanning line can be switched off.
