Zumoria: Live Translation

Follow your event in English or Spanish with live voice translation and on-screen text. Zumoria connects speakers and listeners in events set up by an organizer. An event code is required. JOIN YOUR EVENT Enter your name and the code supplied by the organizer, then choose English or Spanish. Your code gives you access as a listener or a speaker. LISTEN AND READ Hear translated speech, or the original voice when you select the speaker’s language. Follow the text as the event unfolds. Adjust the playback volume, pause listening and return to the live event when you are ready. Read earlier event text while your access remains active. SPEAK TO YOUR AUDIENCE With a speaker code, use your phone’s microphone to send your voice for live translation. Start and stop speaking from the event screen. Listeners can follow the audio and text in their selected language. FOR MEETINGS, TALKS AND CONFERENCES Use Zumoria to follow presentations and organized sessions where people speak English or Spanish. The organizer configures the event for English-to-Spanish or Spanish-to-English translation. BEFORE YOU START You need an Internet connection, an active Zumoria event and a valid code from its organizer. Microphone access is needed only when speaking. Audio is processed online to provide automatic translation, and final transcripts are saved for the event’s history. Translation may contain errors; sound quality and connection conditions affect the experience.
