MDR

MDR is an illustrative/demo merchant payment utility designed to demonstrate how MDR estimates, settlement calculations, and UPI QR collection flows can work. IMPORTANT: MDR IS A DEMONSTRATION UTILITY MDR is not a real payment processing application. The payment, MDR, settlement, and QR collection features are provided for illustrative/demo purposes. MDR does not connect to a bank, payment gateway, NPCI, UPI payment provider, or merchant payment account to process or verify real transactions. With MDR, you can: • Enter a payment amount and view an illustrative MDR estimate. • View an illustrative estimated settlement amount based on the configured demo rate. • Prepare a QR preview for the full amount. • Split a collection amount into multiple QR previews. • Enter a custom collection amount, including an amount different from the original amount. • Automatically split larger collection amounts into smaller QR amounts according to the app's configured limit. • Move through multiple QR payments using simple pagination. • Share individual QR previews using your device's sharing options. • Mark collection entries as received manually for record-keeping. • View previous collection sessions stored locally. • Manage your merchant details. • Delete locally stored merchant data and payment history from the device. REAL PAYMENT DISCLAIMER MDR does not process, authorize, settle, confirm, or verify payments. The QR generated by the app is created from the UPI ID entered by the merchant. MDR does not verify the UPI ID with NPCI, a bank, or a UPI payment provider. A QR preview shown by MDR does not mean that a payment has been initiated, completed, authorized, or received. The "Marked as Received" status is a manual record created by the user. It is not confirmation from a bank, UPI app, NPCI, or payment provider. If you use the QR with an external UPI application, independently verify the actual transaction through your usual banking or UPI application before considering the payment received. MDR ESTIMATES All MDR and settlement figures shown in the app are illustrative calculations based on a configurable demonstration rate. They are not official MDR rates, bank calculations, NPCI calculations, payment-provider calculations, or guaranteed settlement amounts. Actual charges, MDR rates, taxes, eligibility, settlement amounts, and payment terms may vary depending on the relevant bank, payment provider, merchant agreement, and applicable terms. MDR should not be used as a financial, tax, legal, banking, or payment-processing service. LOCAL DATA MDR stores merchant profile information and collection history locally on the device to provide its features. The app does not require a user account or login and does not use a cloud account for the merchant profile or collection history in the current version. Users can remove their locally stored merchant profile and collection history through the Delete Local Data option in the app. PRIVACY For information about how MDR handles data, please see the MDR Privacy Policy available from the About MDR section of the app. MDR is an independent illustrative utility and is not a bank, payment gateway, NPCI service, UPI payment service provider, or financial institution.
