Full description
Remember Winamp melting your screen at 2am? That, in your pocket, on whatever you're streaming. Most music visualizer apps make you import a file first, or they only react to their own player. Flow doesn't. It listens to the audio already playing on your phone — Spotify, YouTube Music, Deezer, VLC, your offline library, a browser tab — and draws it, live, in full screen. KEY FEATURES • 23 visualizers — spirals, kaleidoscopes, smoke, bass-drop rings and an exact spectrum analyzer • True MilkDrop-style feedback: every frame warps the one before it, so trails and swirls build up for real instead of being faked with blur • Reacts to the actual sound — dual FFT analysis, 160 frequency bands, waveform and beat detection • Shapes jump with the bass, the field lurches on the kick, colours change on the beat • Pure black backgrounds, so an AMOLED screen only lights what's drawn • 60 fps at full resolution, in portrait or landscape • Keeps running while you switch apps WHY FLOW? It's for anyone who misses the Winamp and Windows Media Player era, and for anyone who wants their phone to be the visuals at a party instead of another screen full of album art. Prop it against a speaker and let it run. The difference from every other audio visualizer on Play is the engine. A retro visualizer that just draws bars to a beat looks the same every night. Flow's presets are a real feedback loop — the picture feeds itself, so a kaleidoscope keeps blooming outward and smoke keeps curling long after the note stopped. The moment it clicks is usually a bass drop: the rings punch, the screen shakes, and the colours flip — because the app is reading your actual audio, not running an animation on a timer. Three visualizers are free forever. Flow Premium unlocks all 23 plus everything added later, as a weekly subscription with a free trial or a one-time lifetime unlock. HOW IT WORKS Flow uses Android's playback capture, so Android asks you to share your screen — that's how the system hands over the audio. Nothing is recorded, stored or uploaded; it's analysed as it plays and thrown away. Flow never uses the microphone. Track titles and cover art are optional and off by default. ONE HONEST LIMITATION Any app can opt out of playback capture, and some do — SoundCloud is a known example. When that happens Flow tells you on screen instead of pretending. Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Music, Deezer, VLC, Chrome and offline players are all confirmed working. Play something. Open Flow. Watch it move.

What's new

Opens straight on the visualizer: no upgrade screen at launch. Landscape only, like a game, so the visuals fill the whole screen. Picture-in-picture now stays wide.
