For Delivery Representatives (DSR): Digital Attendance: Check in and out digitally, keeping clear and accurate field records. Assigned Loadout & Stock in Hand: View the loadout assigned to your vehicle and confirm stock in hand before starting your deliveries. Scheduled Deliveries: Follow your daily journey plan, view customer and outlet details, and complete deliveries against pending invoices. Spot Sales: Make on-the-spot sales with real-time stock visibility and instantly generated invoices. Real-Time Stock Management: Stay informed about the stock remaining on your vehicle as deliveries and sales are recorded. Empty Bottle & Shell Collection: Easily record empty bottles and shells collected from customers. In-Store Visibility Checks: Capture outlet and cooler photos and complete visibility checks as part of your visit. Voice Entry: Dictate order and delivery quantities instead of typing them. The microphone is used only while you hold the voice-input button on the order and delivery screens, speech is converted to text, and no audio is recorded, stored or transmitted. Live Delivery Location Tracking: During an active delivery, the app records your vehicle's GPS location in real time using a foreground service with an ongoing notification, so your route, outlet visits, and delivery progress are captured accurately - even when the app is in the background or the screen is off. Tracking starts when you begin a delivery and stops as soon as the dispatch is closed. A persistent notification is shown the entire time tracking is active, so you always know when your location is being recorded. Additional Features: Always Up-to-Date Records: Deliveries, sales and collections you record reach the SBC system as soon as your device has a connection, so office and field data stay aligned. This happens as part of normal app use - the app does not run a background data-synchronisation service. Location Tracking & Foreground Service: SBC FieldMan uses a foreground service to access location in the background during an active delivery so it can continuously track the delivery vehicle's route and progress for the assigned dispatch. This runs only while a delivery is in progress, always displays a persistent notification while active, and stops when the dispatch is closed. Permissions Summary: Location (precise, approximate and background) is used only to record the delivery route during an active dispatch, through a foreground service with a persistent notification. Camera is used for outlet, cooler and delivery-proof photos. Microphone is used only for voice entry of quantities. Notifications are used to show the ongoing tracking notification.
