Full description

Forge is a screen time app blocker that makes you earn your apps with exercise: squats and push ups, counted by the camera on your phone. Pick the apps that eat your day (Instagram, TikTok, games and more). When your daily free allowance runs out, Forge blocks them. Want ten more minutes? Do the reps. Forge counts them on the device and unlocks exactly the time you earned. A dopamine detox you actually earn. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the apps to gate and your daily free allowance 2. When your time runs out, Forge puts up the wall 3. Earn minutes with squats, counted live by your camera 4. Your apps unlock for exactly the time you earned PRIVACY FIRST The camera never records: pose detection runs entirely on your phone. No video is stored or uploaded. Ad supported: the one-time Pro purchase removes every ad forever. No account required. PRO (one-time purchase, yours forever) - Push-up mode and Steps mode - Detailed stats and trends - Backup and restore WORLD RANKING Every rep counts toward your score. Climb the world leaderboard under an anonymous handle. WHY WE MADE IT Willpower alone loses against infinite feeds. Forge changes the deal: your screen time is no longer free, it is earned. Only effort is rewarded. Forge asks for the accessibility permission to block the apps you choose. It is used only for that: nothing is read, logged or sent.

What's new

Onboarding can no longer be skipped. Choosing the apps to restrict is now required, right after the permissions. Your daily limit defaults to one hour, and your locked apps open freely until it is spent. Pausing Forge or changing your limits now asks you to type a commitment sentence instead of solving a puzzle.
