Car Maintenance: Oil Change keeps a car maintenance log with oil change reminders by date or mileage. Record services, costs and odometer readings, see what is due from the intervals you choose, and export a PDF service history built from your own records. The app interface is in English. Vehicle names, service notes and other text you enter remain your own. START WITH YOUR VEHICLE Enter the make, model and details you want to keep, then choose miles or kilometres for the odometer. There is no vehicle connection to set up. Your readings supply the distance information used by the log, so updating them is part of keeping the record current. Keep separate service histories when you maintain more than one vehicle. LOG THE WORK THAT WAS DONE Save the service type, date, odometer reading, cost, workshop or vendor, and notes. Add a receipt when you want the supporting record beside the entry. Use the history to recall the last oil change, inspection or other maintenance you recorded. A higher odometer reading entered with a service can advance the vehicle's recorded mileage; the app does not read the actual dashboard. REMINDERS BY TIME OR DISTANCE Choose a maintenance interval in months, miles or kilometres. The due view checks the time and mileage you have recorded and highlights whichever limit comes first. This is useful when a low-mileage car reaches a time interval before a distance interval, or when regular driving reaches the distance sooner. The result depends on your chosen intervals and the readings you supply. KEEP MILEAGE ESTIMATES IN CONTEXT With enough dated odometer observations, the app can estimate when a mileage-based service might become due. It needs at least two dated observations for that projection. Driving patterns change, and an estimate is not a live vehicle measurement. Keep entering current readings and use the actual service guidance for your vehicle when deciding what work is needed. SERVICE HISTORY AND EXPENSES Review earlier work and the amounts you entered instead of searching through scattered notes. Cost views and charts summarize your recorded services; they are not a complete accounting of every cost of owning a vehicle. Custom service types and intervals let your record reflect the jobs you actually track without implying that a preset is the correct schedule for every car. A HISTORY YOU CAN SHARE Export a PDF of your entered maintenance history for your own reference or to share with a workshop or prospective buyer. Check the information before sending it. The PDF is a personal service record, not a manufacturer-certified history or proof that an inspection took place. File backup and restore let you keep a copy of the app's records under your own control. LOCAL RECORD KEEPING Core service records are stored on your device and work offline. Local reminders depend on notification permission and device settings. Exporting or sharing a file is your choice. Purchase and update services may need a connection and have separate data handling, so local record storage should not be read as a promise that no app service processes data. FOLLOW THE VEHICLE'S ACTUAL SCHEDULE Preset intervals are typical starting points. Your owner's manual and qualified service guidance determine the maintenance appropriate to your vehicle. You choose the intervals; this app does not supply manufacturer specifications or inspect mechanical condition. A reminder is a prompt to check your record, not a diagnosis or assurance that the car is safe to drive. Makes and models are yours to type. There is no manufacturer database, VIN lookup, OBD scanner, connected-car feed or extra hardware requirement. The app does not read fault codes, monitor fuel economy or detect that a service has been completed. Its purpose is to keep the maintenance information you enter organized and available when you need it.
