Submarius estimates how far you will actually see underwater by blending satellite ocean color (NASA PACE, ESA Sentinel-3 through Copernicus Marine, NOAA CoastWatch VIIRS) with real instrument readings where they exist, river discharge, and the wave and tide driven mixing that lifts sediment up off the bottom. The number is anchored to what is normal for that place and season, then adjusted for today. When we do not have enough to know, we say so plainly instead of guessing.
