Full description
Here's what matters in Fulgard Storm, in the order you'll actually use it. **The count, done for you** See lightning, tap the big amber button. Hear the thunder, tap it again. Fulgard turns the gap into a distance in kilometres or miles, and it corrects the speed of sound for the air temperature you set, because a hot July afternoon and a cold spring squall don't carry sound quite the same way. **A straight answer about the danger** Every count comes with a plain verdict: within striking range, close enough to worry about, somewhere in the area, or still far off. No charts to decode while the sky is flickering. **Is it coming or going?** Keep counting and your strikes group into a storm. After two or more, Fulgard works out whether the storm is closing in or moving away, and roughly how fast. **The 30-minute clock** Once the thunder stops, the Count tab starts timing the half hour that safety guidance asks you to wait before heading back outside, with a progress bar so you're not guessing. **A log of every storm** The Storms tab keeps each storm you've tracked: when it started, how many strikes you counted, the nearest one, and which way it was heading. Open one to see every strike and add a note like "porch by the lake" or "caught it on the drive home". **Trends across the season** Totals, the nearest strike you've ever counted, your average flash-to-bang gap, strikes by month, and a breakdown of how far away your storms usually are. **An almanac for the next storm** Short, practical cards on how the count works, the 30-30 rule, where you're safer and where you should not be. There's also a myth-or-fact deck: tap a card, see the verdict and the reason behind it. Small touches: km or miles, a light and a dark theme that follow your phone, and an undo right after you log a strike in case your thumb was early. Counts, storms and notes stay in local storage on this phone; Fulgard asks for no permissions and never goes online.

What's new

v1.0 — the flash-to-bang counter, storm log, trends and lightning almanac are all in. Thanks for trying the first build.
