Sotto Note - BFRB Tracker

Notice the moment, then look back gently. Sotto Note is a tracking app for people who want to better understand habits like nail biting, skin picking, and hair pulling. With STOP, simple logging, and gentle reflections, it helps you notice when patterns tend to happen and look back without judgment. These are known as BFRBs (body-focused repetitive behaviors). They include dermatillomania, also called skin picking or excoriation disorder; trichotillomania, or hair pulling; onychophagia, or nail biting; and cuticle picking. Many people live with a compulsive habit like this for years without knowing it has a name. ■ Who it’s for • People who want to log nail biting, skin picking, hair pulling, or similar habits • People who want to notice urges earlier • People who want to review their own patterns over time • People who want a gentle tool they can keep using • People who want to keep personal records on their device ■ Use STOP in the moment When you notice an urge, you can open STOP and pause for a moment.
