"FELCRA Smart Plantation System (FSPS) is an integrated digital platform designed to digitise, centralise and streamline oil palm plantation operations from field-level data capture to management decision-making. The platform establishes a connected digital ecosystem that brings together workers, supervisors, estate management, headquarters and management through a structured and standardised operating process. At the field level, FSPS enables workers and supervisors to capture operational information directly through digital workflows. This includes daily work activities, harvesting and production records, agricultural inputs, fertiliser and chemical usage, inventory movements, workforce productivity, machinery and equipment information, GPS or location-based data, photographs and supporting operational evidence. By capturing information at the point of activity, the system reduces dependency on manual records, spreadsheets and fragmented reporting while improving the timeliness and accuracy of operational data. The platform supports multiple operational modules covering the plantation lifecycle, including Planning, Workforce Management, Stock Management, Work Program, Asset, Infrastructure & Administration. Each module is designed to capture structured information that can be linked to the relevant project, estate, division, block, activity, worker and operational transactions. The captured information is consolidated into a centralised operational database, creating a single digital source of truth for plantation activities. Data from different operational areas can be linked and analysed to provide a complete view of plantation performance. The system enables management to compare planned activities against actual execution, monitor work achievement, analyse production trends, track workforce productivity, monitor input consumption, review inventory balances and identify operational exceptions. FSPS provides role-based dashboards and management views tailored to different levels of users. Field personnel can focus on work execution and data submission, supervisors can monitor daily activities and validate records, estate management can monitor operational performance and productivity, while HQ and senior management can access consolidated KPIs, trends, comparisons and exception-based information across projects and estates. The dashboard and analytics layer transforms operational data into meaningful management information through KPI cards, charts, trend analysis, performance comparisons, achievement indicators, geographical views and drill-down capabilities. Management can move from high-level performance indicators into specific estates, divisions, blocks, activities, workers or transactions to identify the root cause of operational issues and determine the appropriate corrective action. The platform also supports the generation of standardised operational reports covering work programmes, daily work achievements, production and yield, workforce productivity, pest & disease management, stock balances, stock movements, fertiliser and chemical usage, and overall plantation performance. These reports provide a consistent basis for operational monitoring, performance review and management reporting.
