Full description
Urban Management Centre has developed SHWAS SWDS app as part of SHWAS (Breath- in Sanskrit), a platform facilitating recognition and social & financial security of sanitation workers. The app is currently being used by MAWS, Tamil Nadu for identification of sanitation workers directly dealing with liquid waste. SHWAS has built-in tools for quality data collection and identifying gaps in provision of entitlements such as minimum wages, insurance, healthcare etc. serving as a tool for ULBs and concerned departments to support sanitation workers and their families in accessing these. SHWAS facilitates monitoring of scheme progress at city, state and national levels. Contact [email protected] for any queries. Disclaimer: SHWAS app is an independent app and is neither directly nor indirectly affiliated to any government body or organization. We assist government bodies in using the tool for ensuring safety and security of sanitation workers.
