Full description
ScrnLimit is screen time control for the apps that take your hour. It is a screen time tracker and an app blocker together. Set one daily screen time limit for YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, games, and any other app you mark as distracting. When that time is gone, those apps stay covered until tomorrow. So it's perfect for Screen Limit. The screen limit starts with a pause, not a switch that hides your icons. You can still open the app. ScrnLimit asks if this is important, then allows a short burst. At the cap, the distracting apps are covered. You open the app. ScrnLimit stops you first and asks if this is important. The pause starts at 8 seconds and can grow each time you open that same app today. Then you get a short burst, 5 minutes by default. A floating timer stays on screen: green while time remains, amber at 80 percent, and red at the cap. After the burst, or once the shared daily limit is reached, the app is blocked. Set app limits on each app, plus one combined cap for every distracting app together. The default cap is 1 hour. A missed block is logged as a slip, so the day stays honest. Use it as a social media blocker for the feeds that keep pulling you back. Block those feeds inside the apps. ScrnLimit can block Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook Reels while the rest of the app stays open. It can also block websites you choose when they show up in the browser address bar. Accessibility is used only for Reels, Shorts, and those sites, and only if you turn it on. See your screen time in a tracker that stays on this phone. Today against yesterday, the last 7 days and 30 days, time per app, a timeline, and peak hours. Sort apps into distracting, neutral, and productive. A home screen widget shows how close you are to the limit. Use focus mode when you want a clear stretch. Pick 25, 50, or 90 minutes, set a custom focus timer, or run a Pomodoro of 25 minutes on and 5 minutes off. Work schedules and a bedtime sleep schedule can block distracting apps on the weekdays you choose. Make the limit harder to undo. A PIN or fingerprint can be required before you raise the cap, shorten the pause, lengthen the burst, end a focus session early, or turn a block off. You start with 3 emergency passes a day. Optional uninstall protection makes the app harder to remove. ScrnLimit notifies you at 80 percent of the cap and again when you hit it. A day the cap holds, or a finished focus session, adds to your streak. ScrnLimit is a digital wellbeing app that stays on your phone. There is no account, no cloud sync, and no family or parent dashboard. It asks for usage access, display over other apps, and notifications one at a time. Usage access counts the apps. Display over other apps draws the pause and the block. Notifications are the 80 percent warning and the cap. ScrnLimit is for one person cutting down distracting apps. It is not a second launcher, a TV or desktop app, or an AI coach. Light and dark mode. Languages include English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Polish, Romanian, Greek, Swedish, Ukrainian, Russian, Turkish, Arabic, Persian, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Filipino.
