Full description
Classic TriPeaks solitaire, also called Tri Peaks or Three Peaks, the card game of one simple rule: play a card one higher or one lower, and chain your moves until three peaks of cards come apart. Climb a sixteen-station pilgrimage up a sacred mountain in feudal Japan, with painted samurai decks and a daily challenge. Bow once at the weathered torii. You are a samurai pilgrim at the foot of the mountain, and the way up is a thousand steps cut by pilgrims long gone. The temple bell counts a hundred and eight worries; each card you play sets one down. Past the cedar ridge and the mist bridge, above the snow line, three shrines wait for your finest climb. Three peaks, three shrines, one pilgrim. TriPeaks solitaire: one rule, long chains • Play any open card one rank up or down from the card in front of you. Suits never matter. • Ace connects to King, so the ranks run in a circle. • Twenty-four cards in the stock, and every flip ends your chain. • The longer the chain, the more each card scores. Clearing a peak pays a bonus, and the last peak pays double. • Hear the chain climb: each card in a run plucks a koto note one step higher. • Tap to play, and switch on a green glow for every playable card if you like. • Unlimited undo and redo, and Finish plays out the last chain for you. Help when you want it • Stuck? A hint lights a good next move. Hints are unlimited. • Hit a dead end and you will know it, with Undo right there. The Pilgrim's Ascent • A solitaire campaign of sixteen stations on three roads: the Stone Road, the Cloud Road and the Snow Road. • Each road ends at a shrine that asks for a high score, highest of all at the summit. • Three rest houses on the way ask you to win that day's Daily Duel. • Eleven paintings change the table as you climb, from the mountain gate to the summit at sunrise. • Lose a deal and you deal again. The mountain keeps your place. New to Tri Peaks? • Short lessons play along your first deal, on the real cards. Skip them any time. • Replay all eleven lessons from How to Play whenever you like. A daily challenge • The Daily Duel deals the same game to every player each day. • Win it day after day and keep your streak alive. Painted decks and card backs • Two painted decks from the first deal. Eternal Realms paints its kings, queens and jacks as mountain monks, pilgrims and ghosts of the snow; Twilight Elements paints fire, air, water and earth. • Twelve card backs and a table are yours from the start, among them Pilgrim's Ascent: three peaks and a gold torii at dusk. • Clear the first station and pick a Rare card back as a gift. • Win with a card back and its edge turns silver, then gold, then foil. • Win and the cards cascade across the table in your deck's own art. The Card Store • Rare, Epic and Legendary card backs: Kitsune Foxfire, Gashadokuro, Ryūjin Tide, Raijin Storm and more. • New tables to play on, from Cherry Tatami to Snow Garden. • Collect the Yokai Night backs and win the Hyakki Yagyō table: the night parade of a hundred yokai. • Climb five ranks from Ashigaru to Daimyo to earn backs no one can buy. Fair by design • Koban is earned by winning, and it buys backs and tables in the Card Store. • Backs and tables on sale can also be bought with money, as an optional purchase. • The Rare and Epic decks come with the Collector's Path, an optional purchase. • Everything you can buy is cosmetic. No energy and no wait timers. Play it your way • Large or jumbo card numbers, a left-handed layout and reduced motion. • An optional timer and move count, and statistics for every mode. • Plays on phones and tablets. Turn a tablet sideways for a wider table. A samurai card game for adults The art is dark and made for grown-ups: yokai, skulls, blood and suggestive figures. Bow once at the torii. The mountain is waiting.
