SeaCalm is a seasickness and motion sickness support app designed for ocean travelers, cruise passengers, sailors, ferry commuters, and other people who experience sea sickness or motion-related nausea. SeaCalm brings visual motion cues, a sea horizon reference, breathing exercises, P6 acupressure guidance, relaxation audio, travel preparation tools, and vessel seating guidance together in one offline-friendly app. FEATURES 1. VISUAL MOTION CUES Animated peripheral visual cues designed to provide a stable visual reference while you are using your phone during motion. Adjust motion sensitivity, cue count, shape, latency, and visual settings to suit your preference. 2. VISUAL SEA HORIZON A one-tap visual horizon reference with level indicators. Useful when you are inside a cabin or another environment where the natural sea horizon is difficult to see. 3. BREATHING COACH Guided paced-breathing exercises with optional vibration and voice cues. Use the breathing tools to support relaxation and help manage stress or discomfort associated with travel. 4. SOS AUDIO & RELAXATION A selection of ambient audio, including ocean sounds, rainfall, and relaxing music. Use the audio tools during travel when you want a calmer environment. 5. P6 ACUPRESSURE GUIDE Learn the location of the Pericardium-6 (P6) acupressure point on the wrist. Includes a guided placement reference and an interactive timer for practicing P6 acupressure. The app also provides information about acupressure wristbands and how P6 is commonly used for nausea-related discomfort. 6. VESSEL SEATING & DECK GUIDANCE Interactive guidance for cruise ships, ferries, catamarans, speedboats, motor yachts, and sailboats. Learn which parts of a vessel generally experience less motion and how seating position can affect travel comfort. 7. PRE-TRIP PREPARATION Travel preparation information covering hydration, meal planning, ginger, sleep, and other commonly discussed strategies for managing sea sickness and motion sickness. 8. MEDICATION INFORMATION General educational information about commonly used seasickness medication and motion sickness medicine, including topics such as scopolamine patches and meclizine. The app also provides general educational information about post-travel dizziness and land-sickness symptoms. PRIVACY Sensor processing for visual motion features is performed locally on the device.
