Full description
Roll dice that actually roll. This dice roller throws real 3D dice across a virtual table with proper physics: they tumble, bounce off each other, clack against the felt, and settle where the throw leaves them. No spinner animation pretending to be a die, and no plain number generator behind a picture of one. Pick your die, throw it the way that feels right, and read the result the moment the last die stops moving. Key Features • Full polyhedral set: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 and d20 • Roll up to 8 dice at once and get every face plus the total • Real physics simulation: dice collide with the table and with each other, and the result comes from where each die actually lands • Three ways to throw: tap the Throw button, swipe across the table, or shake your phone • Spatial audio: every collision clacks, panned to where it lands on the table, generated live rather than played from a recording • Optional background music: three synthesized ambient loops with a volume slider, silent until you turn them on • Roll history: scroll back through past throws with their totals, and clear it whenever you like • Shake-to-throw can be switched off in settings if you would rather not wave your phone around • Adjustable text size, so results are readable across the table How It Works 1. Choose a die type and how many to roll 2. Tap, swipe, or shake to send them tumbling 3. Watch the 3D dice settle, then read each face and the total 4. Check the history whenever someone asks "what did you roll two turns ago?" That is the whole loop. No sign-up, no menus between you and the next throw. Made for the Table • Tabletop RPGs: a d20 for the attack roll, a fistful of d6 for the damage • D&D and other roleplaying games where the feel of the roll is half the fun • Board games with a missing die • Quick decisions that deserve better than a coin flip Physical dice get lost, roll under the couch, and stay home exactly when the session moves online. A 3D dice roller in your pocket is the next best thing to the real clatter, and this one sounds the part too. The Details That Sell the Illusion • Each die is a true polyhedron with numbered faces, read off the face that actually lands up • Throw strength matters: a gentle swipe rolls short, a hard one sends dice ricocheting off the walls • The table has edges, so no die ever slides off into nowhere • Sound is synthesized on the spot for every impact, so two collisions never sound quite the same Why Choose This Dice Roller • Fair by physics: results come from the simulated throw, so every roll is as unpredictable as the toss that made it • Works offline: rolling needs no connection, so it runs the same at a table in a basement or on a plane • No account and no tracking: the app makes no requests of its own • Free, supported by an optional donation link in the sidebar • Lightweight and quick to open, because a die should be ready before the table gets impatient Honest About What It Is This app rolls the six standard polyhedral dice, up to eight of one type per throw, and totals them for you. It does not manage character sheets, apply modifiers, or parse dice notation; it is the dice, done properly. If you want the feel of rpg dice hitting a table without carrying a bag of them, this is that. Roll a d20 and see. The dice are already on the table.

What's new

Dice Roller v1.7 • Support development, in the menu, lets you leave an optional tip through Google Play. Pick one of five amounts, or Other amount to choose your own in Google Play's checkout. • Tips unlock nothing; the app works the same with or without one.
