Full description
ReClaim is a minimalist Android launcher built around one idea: make productive actions easy, and make distracting actions intentional. Most launchers compete for your attention. ReClaim does the opposite, it strips away the clutter, hides the apps that don't deserve a shortcut, and puts real friction between you and the ones that eat your time. A calmer home screen A clock, your actual favorite apps, and nothing else. No widgets fighting for space, no ads, no "suggested for you." Just what you chose to keep close. Every app, without the pull Swipe right for a plain alphabetical list, black text, no icons, no visual bait. Everything's there when you need it; nothing's designed to be tapped by accident. Block what pulls you in Pick an app, pick a duration, 5 minutes to a year, and it's gone until the timer runs out. Set it once, get suggestions for what else you'll probably want to block with it (based on what you actually use), and move on. Limits that reset themselves Give Instagram 20 minutes a day. When you hit it, ReClaim closes it automatically, no lingering, no "just five more minutes." Reminders instead of walls Not every app needs a hard block. App Reminders ask "how long do you intend to use this?" up front, then nudge you when that time's up, a gentle check-in, not a lockout. Schedules that run themselves Work hours, bedtime, weekends, set recurring windows where specific apps are simply unavailable, no daily decision required. Accessibility Service ReClaim uses Android’s AccessibilityService API to enforce the blocks, reminders, and limits you set. It is used only to: • Detect when an app you blocked, reminded, or limited comes to the foreground, including from Recents, a notification, or another launcher • Show ReClaim’s block screen, or return you to Home, when that app is opened or when a reminder or limit you set is reached • Read the browser address bar only, so a website you blocked, reminded, limited, or hid can be matched. Page content is not read • Dismiss a picture-in-picture window for an app that was just blocked ReClaim does not use AccessibilityService to read messages, passwords, or other on-screen text, record audio or video, capture keystrokes, or collect or share personal data. This check stays on your device. You turn it on yourself in Settings → Accessibility → ReClaim blocking. You can turn it off there at any time. Without it, ReClaim can still block apps opened from its own home screen, but it cannot intercept apps opened from elsewhere. Hidden Apps, three levels deep Some apps you don't want to delete, just stop opening out of habit. Hide them behind nothing, a quick puzzle, or a real deterrent, your call, per app. Make it yours, without making it loud Five themes, ten fonts, four text sizes. Themes change color and type, never the layout, never the calm. No ads. No account required. No dark patterns asking you to "please don't leave." Just a phone that gets out of your way until you decide otherwise. Accessibility Service
