Backup Power Log

Backup Power Log is a practical generator maintenance and outage readiness app for homeowners, cabin owners, RV owners, small property managers, and anyone who depends on backup power when the grid goes down. When a storm or utility outage starts, the question is simple: is the generator ready, how much fuel is available, when was it last tested, and what should be checked next? Backup Power Log keeps those answers in one focused place. Track the details that matter: - Generator run tests and real outage runtime - Fuel refills, estimated fuel on hand, and expected runtime - Oil changes, service notes, parts, costs, and maintenance dates - Service due status based on your last service and interval - Readiness checklist items for storm and outage prep - Local reminders for test runs, service due dates, and fuel checks - Calendar history showing which logs happened on each date The Status view gives you a quick readiness snapshot: fuel estimate, runtime estimate, maintenance state, recent activity, checklist progress, and a clear Next Action so you know what to do before the next outage. The Logs view keeps all run, fuel, and service records editable. If you enter the wrong date, runtime, fuel amount, or note, you can fix or delete the entry and the app updates totals, readiness, and history immediately. The Equipment view keeps generator settings organized, including fuel tank size, fuel level, hourly fuel use, service interval, and location details. Premium users can track multiple generators or locations separately, such as home, cabin, RV, rental property, or battery station. Use Backup Power Log for: - Weekly or monthly generator test runs - Pre-storm fuel and maintenance checks - Tracking fuel stabilized before storage - Recording oil, spark plug, air filter, and battery service - Keeping repair notes ready for a technician - Leaving clear generator status for family, tenants, or property staff - Building a maintenance history before selling or servicing equipment Premium is a one-time purchase. It removes ads and unlocks deeper preparedness tools: - Multiple generators and locations - Location-specific reminders - Full outage readiness checklist - Generator handoff report for family, tenants, or technicians - PDF and CSV maintenance binder exports - Cleaner long-term records for repair visits, property files, resale, and seasonal prep Backup Power Log is local-first and does not require an account. It is built for quick checks, fast logging, and practical records you can actually use when power reliability matters.
