Tihai - Player

Tihai-Player is a specialized app designed for students and enthusiasts of Indian classical music to practice and perfect tihais provided by their Gurus. This app works as a companion to Tihai-Creator, seamlessly importing tihais and surmalikas crafted in the Creator app for precise playback, aiding in learning complex rhythmic sequences. With Tihai-Player, students can listen, repeat, and practice tihais exactly as their Gurus intended, down to the specific raga, taal, and tempo. The app replicates the dynamics of live practice, allowing users to refine their timing, expression, and rhythmic accuracy. Tihai-Player is unique in offering a precise playback of each tihai, emulating the feeling of learning directly from a Guru and helping users internalize the patterns through repetition. Key Features Guru Mode: Tihai-Player provides an authentic learning experience with its Guru Mode. This feature lets students play tihais as shared by their Gurus, ensuring that each beat, pause, and rhythm matches the original composition. Ideal for disciplined practice, Guru Mode makes remote learning more accessible and efficient. Detailed Taal and Laya Adjustments: Users can adjust playback speed within specific laya (tempo) boundaries set by their Guru, allowing them to gradually improve speed and precision. Practice Looping: Tihai-Player allows users to loop difficult segments for concentrated practice, enabling users to build rhythmic stamina and control. Whether working on a specific cadence or beat pattern, looping helps musicians achieve mastery. Tihai-Player uniquely combines precise playback with flexible practice tools to support Indian classical musicians in mastering the art of tihai. It's the perfect companion for serious students looking to internalize and perfect compositions shared by their Gurus.
