Tihai-Creator

Tihai-Creator is an innovative app for musicians and enthusiasts of Indian classical music, offering a platform to create and customise tihais and surmalikas. Inspired by sheet music creation, the app brings traditional music composition into the digital age, letting users experiment with rhythmic and melodic sequences. Tihai-Creator includes three modes: AI Mode, Palta Mode, and Expert Mode, each designed for different levels of expertise. With AI Mode, users can access intelligent suggestions based on chosen raga and taal, making it easy to experiment with traditional patterns while gaining insights from AI-driven recommendations. This is ideal for beginners or anyone wanting new creative ideas. Palta Mode serves musicians focused on structured practice routines, allowing them to explore repetitive patterns, create paltas based on specific ragas or taals, and integrate traditional compositions with their own twist. Users can refine their paltas, adjust tempos, and work on techniques with structured guidance. For seasoned practitioners, Expert Mode provides a comprehensive toolkit for creating custom tihais and surmalikas from scratch. This mode enables control over complex details, including rhythmic divisions, precise notation, and tala variations. Musicians can experiment with challenging structures, layered rhythms, and unique compositions, making this mode ideal for professional use. Beyond individual modes, Tihai-Creator features a clean, intuitive interface designed to reflect the intricacies of Indian classical notation, providing detailed options for taal, laya, octave, and raag selections. Users can save, export, and share compositions, making it easy to collaborate with fellow musicians or instructors.
