PTA

Precious Tots Academy (PTA) is the private community app for approved parents, guardians, and staff of Precious Tots Academy in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria. It brings the school community together in one secure, admin-approved space — keeping families informed, connected, and engaged with what is happening in the classroom. Who the app is for PTA is a closed community. Only parents, guardians, and staff whose accounts have been approved by a school administrator can join. New members request access by creating an account; an administrator reviews the request and issues a private invite code. This keeps the community restricted to verified members of the Precious Tots Academy family. Community chatroom Stay in touch with the wider PTA community through the group chatroom. Share updates, ask questions, and coordinate with other approved families and staff in real time. Messages are visible only to approved members, and any member can report or block another member whose conduct violates the Community Guidelines. School noticeboard Browse and contribute to the school noticeboard. Approved members can upload photos, videos, and documents to share classroom moments, announcements, and learning resources with the community. Camera access is used only when you choose to capture a photo for upload. Programs and school information Explore the academy's programs — from Crèche and Reception through KG 1, KG 2, Preparatory, and Grades 1 to 5. Read about the school's philosophy, view parent testimonials, and find contact details, location, and WhatsApp links for direct enquiries. Account and privacy controls Members manage their own account and legal documents from the Account & Legal section. You can review the Privacy Policy, Terms of Use, and Community Guidelines at any time, and request deletion of your account directly in the app. Account deletion revokes access immediately and schedules permanent deletion after a 14-day recovery window, during which you can contact support to cancel. Safety and moderation PTA is built with child safety and community standards in mind. All members must accept the current Terms of Use and Community Guidelines before posting or uploading. Members can report messages and block other users. Administrators can review reports, hide or remove content, warn or suspend members, and manage account requests. Reports are handled by the designated PTA safeguarding lead, with serious concerns escalated immediately. Security Access to the app is protected by administrator approval, row-level database rules, encrypted transport, and device authentication. Biometric and screen-lock prompts use your device's own credentials — PTA never stores fingerprints, Face ID, PINs, or passcodes. Important notes - PTA is intended for adults (parents, guardians, and staff). It is not directed at children. - An internet connection is required. - Membership is restricted to the Precious Tots Academy community and requires administrator approval. - The app is free to use. There are no advertisements and no in-app purchases.
