Pikando is a local task marketplace for Bengaluru. Post a task and get bids from verified people nearby — or become a seeker and earn money doing tasks you're good at. HOW IT WORKS — POSTERS • Describe your task, set a budget, and add the location (or mark it remote). • Verified seekers bid on it. Compare bids, ratings, and profiles, then pick one. • Pay securely up front — your money is held safely and released to the seeker only after you confirm the task is done. • Track progress with milestones, share a start OTP when work begins, and chat with your seeker inside the app. HOW IT WORKS — SEEKERS • Browse tasks near you and bid with your price and pitch. • Complete identity (KYC) and bank verification once, and get payouts straight to your bank account when tasks complete. • In-person task starts are protected: your location is confirmed at the task location and your identity is confirmed with a quick selfie check. BUILT-IN SAFETY • Every seeker completes government-ID (KYC) verification before payouts. • In-app chat keeps your phone number private until you choose to share it. • An SOS button is available during active in-person tasks: hold it to alert your emergency contacts with live location tracking, and it opens your phone's dialer with 112 (India's emergency number) prefilled so you can call instantly. • Report and block: flag tasks, reviews, or users; blocked users can't see your tasks or contact you. PAYMENTS YOU CAN TRUST • Payments are processed by Razorpay. Money for a task is collected when you pick a seeker and released only after you confirm completion. • Full transaction history and earnings view in the app. IN YOUR LANGUAGE • Pikando works in English, हिन्दी, and ಕನ್ನಡ — including translation of task descriptions, chats, and reviews. GOOD TO KNOW • Pikando is currently live in Bengaluru only. We check your area during signup — more cities are coming. • Pikando is for adults (18+): payouts require statutory KYC verification. • Location is used to show nearby tasks, set task addresses, and confirm serviceability. During an active SOS alert only, your live location is shared in the background with your emergency contacts until you stop the alert — never at any other time. Need help?
