Vesikalık: ID Photo Maker

NOT AN OFFICIAL APP: Vesikalık is made by an independent developer. It does not represent any government agency and is not affiliated with NVI, EGM, OSYM, the U.S. Department of State, HM Passport Office, IRCC, the Auswaertiges Amt, ICAO or any consulate. Only the relevant institution decides whether your photo is accepted. Vesikalık prepares the photo required for passport, ID and visa applications on your phone. Your photo never leaves the device: face detection, cropping and background replacement all run locally. DOCUMENT TEMPLATES Dimensions come from each institution's official page (the app links to the same pages): • Türkiye — ID card / passport (NVI), 50x60 mm — https://www.nvi.gov.tr/istanbul/biyometrik-fotograf-nasil-olmalidir • Schengen visa, 35x45 mm — https://teheran.diplo.de/ir-de/02-service/2642660-2642660 • Germany biometric Passbild, 35x45 mm, face height 32-36 mm — https://spanien.diplo.de/es-de/service/2591930-2591930 • United Kingdom passport - digital (at least 600x750 px) and printed (35x45 mm, face 29-34 mm) — https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports • United States passport/visa/DV - square 600x600 to 1200x1200 px, JPEG max 240 KB — https://adoption.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/photos/digital-image-requirements.html • Canada passport - digital (1200x1800 to 3000x4500 px, 200 KB-5 MB) and printed (50x70 mm) — https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/canadian-passports/photos.html • ICAO Doc 9303 general portrait template — https://www.icao.int/sites/default/files/publications/DocSeries/9303_p3_cons_en.pdf HOW IT WORKS 1. Pick your document. The card shows its print size, digital pixel and file-size limits, head-height and eye-line ranges and background requirement. 2. Take a photo or choose one from your gallery. 3. The app finds the face, levels the eye line, crops to the template and replaces the background with a flat light colour. 4. The check screen reports every measurable criterion at three levels: blocking (red), warning (amber) and info (blue). Each line shows its basis, plus a link to the official source where the criterion has one. 5. Output: a digital file sized to the document's pixel and file-size limits, plus a 10x15 cm print sheet (300 dpi with cut marks) you can hand to a photo lab or print kiosk. Free: a watermarked digital copy. Watermark-free file and 10x15 print sheet: a single-photo purchase or Pro. WHY IT IS DIFFERENT Competing apps beautify the photo. Vesikalık does not. ICAO Doc 9303 Part 3, 3.9.1.1 prohibits editing a portrait in a way that changes the subject's appearance, so there is no face retouching, skin smoothing, ageing or generative editing in this app. It only rotates, crops, scales, applies a whole-image colour balance and fills the background. The app invents no thresholds. Where an institution has not published a head-height ratio (for example NVI), the app makes no pass/fail judgement and says "not stated in the official spec". A blocking verdict is given only for criteria with a numeric value in the official source; the measurement preconditions no face, more than one face and eyes closed are determined by on-device face detection. PRIVACY Your photos are processed only on your device and are never sent to any server. No account, no analytics, no ads. The only network connection the app makes is to the Google Play purchase service. Your last 10 outputs are stored on the device; deleting a record really deletes the files. PRICING The free version unlocks every template and the full check. Free: a watermarked digital copy. Watermark-free file and 10x15 print sheet: a single-photo purchase or Pro. A single-photo purchase removes the watermark from that photo. Pro (weekly or yearly, 3-day free trial) gives unlimited watermark-free output. LEGAL NOTICE Specifications may change without notice; check the institution's current official page before applying.
