Kalori: Turkish Food Counter

Lentil soup, karnıyarık, adana kebab, lahmacun, künefe… Kalori was built to recognise the Turkish and Middle Eastern dishes that other calorie apps simply do not know. HOW IT WORKS 1. Photograph your plate. 2. The app identifies the dish from a 158-item list and offers up to 3 candidates. 3. Pick the portion with one tap: quarter, half, full, 1.5 or 2 — with a household measure. 4. Calories, protein, carbs and fat are added to your daily total. WE DO NOT INVENT THE NUMBERS Most apps ask an AI model for the calories. We do not. The vision model only predicts the NAME of the dish and returns no numbers at all. Every nutrition value is CALCULATED: • We wrote a standard recipe for each dish (ingredients, weights, cooking loss). • Ingredient values come from USDA FoodData Central SR Legacy (U.S. Department of Agriculture, public domain): https://fdc.nal.usda.gov Kalori is not affiliated with USDA; values are for information only and are not medical advice. • The serving weight is computed from how many servings the recipe yields. The in-app "How do we calculate?" page shows each dish's recipe, its source and a confidence level. Where we cannot verify a value we do not make one up — we say so and let you enter it by hand.
