Forgot your phone on that walk? Add the steps yourself and send them to Health Connect in one tap. PokeT-Walk writes the steps you enter into Health Connect, the step and activity store built into Android. Any fitness app you have given permission to read Health Connect will then see them, so the walk you did without your phone still counts. WHY PEOPLE USE IT - You left your phone at home, at work, or in a locker. - Your battery died mid-walk. - You walked on a treadmill and your phone sat on the rack. - Your workplace does not allow phones. - You changed phones and those days are missing from your walking log. HOW IT WORKS 1. Open the app and enter the steps, or just pick the distance you walked. 2. Pick the day and the time you were walking. 3. Tap once. The steps are written to Health Connect, spread across the minutes you walked instead of landing all in the same second. ABOUT HEALTH CONNECT Health Connect is where Android keeps step and distance data. It is built into Android 14 and later, and installs from Google Play on older versions. PokeT-Walk asks Android for permission to read and write steps, and you can take that permission back at any time from Health Connect settings. You decide which apps can see the steps you add: only the apps you have allowed to read steps in Health Connect can read them. Whether those apps read them, and how often they sync, is up to those apps, and PokeT-Walk cannot promise that on their behalf. YOUR DATA No account, no sign-up.
