MittiCollect

🌾 Mitti Collect – Supporting Low-Emission Rice Farming Mitti Collect is a field data collection app designed to help reduce methane emissions from rice farming. Rice cultivation can release methane, a greenhouse gas that contributes to climate change. This app supports cleaner and more sustainable farming by helping teams accurately record farm-level information. Mitti Collect allows field teams to collect important data directly from farmers and their fields. The app helps record farmer details, land information, and plot-level data in a structured and secure way. With Mitti Collect, you can: • Record farmer information and contact details • Capture government-approved ID details when required • Record land area and plot information • Save GPS location of rice fields • Upload photos of land records • Track farming practices such as Alternate Wetting and Drying (AWD) • Monitor dry-down processes and other field activities • Support transparent documentation of sustainable rice farming By collecting accurate field data, Mitti Collect helps promote low-methane rice farming practices, improve water management, and support long-term carbon emission reduction programs. The app is built for simple and efficient data entry in field conditions. Information collected through the app is securely stored and used only for program and operational purposes. Mitti Collect makes it easier to document sustainable farming practices and contribute to climate-friendly rice production.
