SweetTales: Bedtime Stories

A new story every night, made just for your child. Read it yourself, or listen together: the app reads it aloud, with a different voice for every character. SweetTales writes personalized bedtime stories from scratch, every single time: each one grows out of the characters, the places, the objects and the themes you choose. No subscription. If you are looking for bedtime stories for kids to read or to listen to before sleep, SweetTales writes a new one every evening, shaped around the age and the interests of whoever is listening. HOW IT WORKS 1. Choose the age of the listener. 2. Add a hero, other characters, places, objects or a moral. 3. Generate your personalized bedtime story. 4. Listen to it read aloud, straight from the app. Every story is different from the last, and follows whatever your child is into at the moment. PERSONALIZED BEDTIME STORIES You can choose: • The hero of the story • Friends, animals or fantastical creatures • Real or imaginary places • Special objects • A moral, if you want one • Whatever they are into right now: dinosaurs, space, the first day of school The result is one story, written only for them. READ ALOUD SweetTales does not only write the text. Every story can be listened to, and each character has a voice of their own: the giant does not sound like the little girl. The title opens the story, and the moral closes it in a different voice. Sleep stories for kids, with no screen in the way: you hold your child, and the app reads. PRIVACY FIRST The names you type stay on your device. Before a story is written, every real name is swapped for a stand-in, and put back only on your phone once the story is ready. Our servers never learn who your child is, and neither does the artificial intelligence that writes the story. Ask for a sequel: the characters come back with their own names and their own voices, and the episodes stay together in your library. YOUR STORY LIBRARY Every story you generate is saved on your device. Read them again with no connection at all, and listen to them whenever you like. Save a profile for each child, and export your stories and profiles to a file, so you keep them when you change phones. THREE LANGUAGES • English • Italian • German Stories are written directly in the language you pick, never machine-translated from another one. SPARKS Every story is written by artificial intelligence, and that costs us: so stories are paid for in sparks. You start with 30, and earn 30 more every time you watch a video, up to 20 a day. A story costs from 10 sparks (1 minute) to 40 (7 minutes); having it read aloud costs 10, once per story, and after that it is yours. No subscription, and nothing to buy. IMPORTANT NOTES • Stories are written by artificial intelligence. They go through checks before they reach you, but no filter is perfect: it is worth a look before bedtime. • You need an internet connection to write a new story. The ones you already have work offline. • The app contains adverts: a banner at the bottom of the screen, and the videos that earn sparks. • You can delete all of your data from the settings, at any time. • The app is used by the parent: you put the story together, and your child listens. SweetTales turns the ten minutes before sleep into something that is never the same twice.
