Full description

Farmtracker is your gateway to a fairer cocoa industry. Developed by Tony’s Open Chain, this powerful tool enables tracking of farmer and plantation-level data across the cocoa supply chain of Tony's Open Chain in West Africa. By connecting cocoa cooperatives, farmers, and mission allies, Farmtracker helps implement programs that ensure a living income, eradicate child labor, and verify deforestation-free farming. Key Features: - GPS-based farm mapping for full traceability - Digital monitoring of income and labor practices - Seamless data sharing across the supply chain - Supports Tony’s 5 Sourcing Principles aiming at ending structural poverty and establishing more equitable relationships with cocoa cooperatives in Ghana and Côte d'Ivoire. Why It Matters: Farmtracker empowers cocoa farmers and cooperatives with transparency and accountability. It’s a vital part in taking a farmer-first approach in cocoa that prioritises human rights and environmental protection, aiming to reverse institutionalised inequality.
