MatYard POS is the counter, floor, and route app for laundromat businesses. It runs the till, tracks every ticket through the shop, dispatches pickup and delivery, and keeps your team on the clock — all from one app, shared with the MatYard web command center under a single sign-in. RING SALES AT THE COUNTER - Menu driven by your own catalog, priced live by the full MatYard pricing engine — tiers and order minimums are calculated server-side, so the total on screen is the total you charge. - Per-line Express toggle and a live running total. - Take cash at the counter and record how each order was paid. The app records the payment method on the order — it does not capture or store card numbers. TICKETS & ORDERS, END TO END - Tickets list and per-ticket detail with the full order lifecycle. - An orders board that shows everything in flight — walk-ins, pickups, and standing orders alike. - Move each piece forward as it moves through the shop. SCAN TAGS & BARCODES - Use the camera to scan a ticket number, a printed unit tag, or a heat-seal barcode and jump straight to the order. - Bluetooth HID scanners work too — they type into the same field, no setup required. - Scans are processed to look up the order. Photos from scanning are NOT stored. PICKUP & DELIVERY + DRIVER ROUTES - A standing-order book for recurring pickups that mint tickets automatically. - A driver workspace with today's assigned routes and ordered stops: arrive, mark collected or delivered, or record why a stop couldn't be completed. - The day's route shows on an embedded map with the stops in order. (The MatYard web till adds a one-tap hand-off to your phone's maps app for full turn-by-turn.) - Capture proof of delivery and stop notes. TIME CLOCK - Every staff member clocks in and out and takes breaks from their profile. - Managers correct mistakes from the timesheet. - Optional store geofence so punches happen at the store. LOCATION SHARING — ONLY ON THE CLOCK, ONLY IF YOU OPT IN - If your store turns it on AND the staff member opts in, the app shares the device's location with their own manager — and ONLY while that person is clocked in to a shift. - Tracking stops the moment they clock out. Never off the clock. - Staff can withdraw consent at any time in the app. - Location history is kept for 90 days, then deleted. - This is shown to the staffer's manager in the same business. It is never sold and never shared with third parties for advertising. CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS - A unified inbox for customer messages across SMS, WhatsApp, and email — read a thread and reply in one place, with order context attached. - Send order notifications (e.g. "your order is ready") when you enable them. Customers can opt out of texts by replying STOP. ROLE CONSOLES & SHARED DEVICES - Owner, manager, driver, and counter consoles — the app shows each person only what their role allows. - A shared "station" kiosk mode: pair a counter tablet with a one-time 6-digit code, then staff identify with a personal PIN to ring — no shared password on the glass. - A chromeless customer-facing display screen for a second tablet facing the customer. CASH UP - Open the drawer with a float, ring the day, and close with what the drawer actually holds. MatYard computes the expected cash and states the variance.
