Full description
Milk Hour is a baby tracker built for one moment: three in the morning, one hand, no glasses, a baby who needs feeding now. Everything else follows from that. ONE TAP, WITHOUT LOOKING • Huge buttons at the bottom of the screen, where your thumb already is • Left and right remember which side is next, so you don't have to • Start a feed from the lock screen with a Quick Settings tile, without unlocking • A home screen widget that logs a feed without opening the app IT GETS DARK AT NIGHT Between the hours you choose, Milk Hour dims itself and turns warm, so you're not firing a white screen into a dark room at 3am. The navigation bar gets out of the way too, so there is nothing below your thumb to hit by mistake. Nothing else in the house has to wake up. IT NEVER LOSES YOUR FEED Fell asleep with the timer running? Milk Hour asks what happened instead of silently counting to nine hours or quietly deleting it. Your averages stay honest, and an estimated duration is always marked as one. NO MATHS "Last feed 2h 14m ago." Not a timestamp you have to subtract from now. EVERY WAY OF FEEDING Breast, bottle, pumping, solids — the buttons change to match how your baby is actually fed. A formula-feeding parent never sees Left and Right; a breastfeeding parent never sees a bottle button. EVERYTHING IS FREE On iPhone some of this is paid. On Android none of it is. There is no Plus tier, no subscription, no unlock, and no adverts. • Unlimited logging — breast, bottle, pump, solids, nappies, sleep, medicine, notes • Which side is next • When the next feed is likely — most apps charge for this • Reminders, only when there's a steady enough pattern to be worth interrupting you • Trends — how feeds, sleep and nappies are changing week by week • Growth percentiles from the WHO Child Growth Standards, and growth over time • More than one baby, for twins or a second child • A handover summary to send your partner, a grandparent or the childminder • A summary for your health visitor or doctor • Home screen widget, Quick Settings tiles, a running timer on your lock screen • Night mode • Your data out as a CSV, and a log brought in from another app — including from the iPhone version NO ACCOUNT. NO SERVER. NO ADVERTS. Milk Hour works completely offline. There is nothing to sign up for, nothing is uploaded to us, and there is no advertising or analytics code anywhere in the app. Your baby's log stays on your phone — it is not copied to Google Drive, and the only way it leaves is the export button, when you press it. A NOTE ON WHAT THIS ISN'T Milk Hour is not a medical device. Growth percentiles are worked out on your device from the published WHO standards and tell you where a measurement sits among healthy babies of the same age and sex. They are not a diagnosis, and only your health visitor or doctor can tell you what one means.

What's new

Milk Hour for Android — a baby tracker built for one moment: three in the morning, one hand, no glasses. Everything that is paid on iPhone is free here. No Plus tier, no subscription, no adverts. Feeds, sleep, nappies, bottles, pumping and solids. Dims itself at night. Asks about a timer you left running instead of guessing. Widget, Quick Settings tiles, a running timer on your lock screen, and your whole log out as a CSV.
