Flip Clock: Desk & Alarm Clock

A full-screen flip clock built to be left on. Dock your phone or tablet and Flip Clock becomes a split-flap desk clock, a bedside night clock, a screensaver for the old phone in your drawer — or an alarm clock that actually wakes the screen. Real mechanical flip animation, 22 free clock faces, and a night mode you can genuinely sleep next to. ★ A REAL FLIP CLOCK • Split-flap animation with a two-stage fold and a settling bounce — drawn, not faded • 22 clock faces, every one free: Split-Flap, Airport, Paper, Segment, Void, Station, Terminal, Neon, E-Ink, Brutalist, Cassette, Vintage Amber, Obsidian, Mercury, Gold Leaf, Midnight, Copper, Forest, Ivory, Sakura, Blueprint and Ink • Five numeral typefaces, so the same face can read as a departure board or a station clock • Three sizes, up to edge-to-edge — readable across a room • Landscape and portrait, phone and tablet. Stood upright, the clock stacks hours over minutes and fills the screen ★ BUILT FOR THE HOURS YOU LEAVE IT RUNNING • Burn-in protection: the clock drifts continuously so no pixel holds a shape. Free, and on by default • True-black night clock mode, dimmable well below your phone's own minimum • Night warmth — the display shifts towards red after dark, because blue light is the part that keeps you awake • Automatic dimming by ambient light, or on a schedule you set • Honest battery behaviour: nothing animates when nothing is changing ★ ALARM CLOCK • Exact alarms that survive Doze, a reboot, and a clock change • Wakes the screen over your lock screen and shows the time on the same flip cards • Volume ramps up instead of jolting you awake • Snooze, repeat days, and as many alarms as you want ★ WORLD CLOCK — WORKS OFFLINE • Search any city on earth and see its time and how far ahead or behind it is • The timezone database is bundled, so the world clock needs no connection at all • A second home screen widget for the city of your choice ★ WIDGETS THAT COST NO BATTERY • A split-flap clock widget on your home screen, matching whichever face you chose • The system draws the time itself — this widget schedules no background work whatsoever • Add it from inside the app, no hunting through a widget drawer ★ MORE • Focus timer, stopwatch and countdown, all on the same flip cards • Floating clock over other apps, using picture-in-picture — no permission to draw over your screen • Use Flip Clock as your Android screensaver so it appears whenever the phone is docked or charging • Optional weather for the cities you pick — no account, no key, no location permission • An optional mechanical flap sound, off by default • 12 or 24 hour, seconds, date, weekday and battery — show only what you want ★ NO ADS. NO ACCOUNT. NOTHING TO BUY. Every face and every feature is free. There is no advertising, no sign-up, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. The one network request the app can make is weather, and only if you switch it on. Perfect as a desk clock, a bedside clock, a study timer, a kitchen timer, a nightstand alarm clock, or a second life for an old phone.
